Easter Card Craft Week
Sunday, March 22 through Friday, March 27
Stop by on Sunday afternoon or after school during the week and make a custom Easter Card!
The library will provide everything to complete your project, including ribbons, die cuts, paper, glue, markers, scissors, and stamps. You can bring any extra embellishments to personalize your creation. Photo-safe paper will be available if you would like to put a photo in your card.
Crafters will walk away with a hand-made Easter Card that will warm anyone’s heart. The addition of a photo will provide a treasured keepsake. Family Movie Event

Join us for some hopping good action! Enjoy fresh popcorn and refreshing drinks. This free program, which is open to children of all ages and their parents or caretakers, will last about 90 minutes. Sponsored by FOPL.

Free Tax Preparation

The April deadline is approaching! We are pleased to host free tax assistance from SC Thrive one last time this year. Those filing single with income of $65,000 or less and those filing married jointly with income of $95,000 or less are eligible for the assistance. With direct deposit, clients can receive their refund in as few as seven to ten days. During the filing process, counselors can also identify benefits that clients may be eligible for. These include health care coverage, child care subsidies, and the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (formerly food stamps). Olanta Town Council Meeting

Come hear your mayor and council members discuss the latest news, challenges, developments, and plans relating to your town and local government. There is always time allotted at the end of each meeting for public comments to express your opinions, concerns, etc.
Board Game Nights
Thursdays, April 9 and 23 6:00 - 7:30 PM
Children and teens ages 8-17 are invited. Board games are a great way to meet new friends and learn valuable educational skills. On top of all that, they’re just darn fun! These Fun and Free sessions last about 90 minutes.
Bird Feeder Craft

The return of warm weather has brought birds back to South Carolina and all that flying has made them hungry. Help make sure they have a spot for a good meal by building a birdfeeder at the library! Making a birdfeeder from Popsicle sticks is a cinch and super fun to boot. Please call 843-396-4287 to register! This free program, which is open to children of all ages and their parents or caretakers, will last about 60 minutes. All materials will be provided by the library and the Friends of the Olanta Public Library.

Would you like to learn how to knit? Do you already know how but want to socialize while working on your project? Join us! Our new knitting circle welcomes all ages and skill levels.
